Private Sessions
No matter what training services you're interested in, we’ll get started with a private session to meet you and your dog, clarify your goals, and begin working on our plan. For some clients, a series of private sessions is the best option.
$90/hour
Day Training
Day training is structured daycare in my home with at least an hour of individualized training sessions throughout the day. Door and leash manners, and structured play and downtime, are taught to all dogs. Other goals of a day training program will be specific for each dog. Day training can be an opportunity to safely socialize with other dogs.
$95/up to 9 hours
Walk and Train
Walk and train sessions usually include some in-home training as well as the training walk. The sessions often teach fetch, tug, basic obedience, leash manners, recall reliability, and solid down-stays.
$60/hour
Boarding
New boarding clients must book at least two weeks in advance.
Basic Training included, as needed:
• Doorway manners
• Sit, Down, Place
• Loose leash walking
Prices
• The daily price decreases as the stay gets longer: $90–$75
• Holidays: +$15
• Second dog: 30% off
• There may be additional charges for puppies, extra large breeds, etc.
I’ve been working professionally with dogs since 2016, when I began my boarding and walking business. Prior to that, I got a B.A. in psychology, then got a master’s degree in educational research and worked in that field for several years.
Since starting my business ten years ago, I’ve boarded over two hundred different dogs in my home and had another hundred as walking clients. Over the course of the business, I increasingly became interested in dog behavior and training.
I’ve studied dog training through books, online courses, volunteering, seminars, and talking with other experienced trainers. I’m a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and have volunteered at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center and the Morris Animal Shelter.
I’m interested in the science and technical aspects of dog training, but I also understand the need to simplify concepts for clients and guide them through a clear and practical step-by-step plan to reach their goals with their dog.
I’m an avid proponent of playing games with dogs. Through play, you can exercise your dog, strengthen your relationship, build impulse control, and have fun.
If you are struggling with your dog — manners around the house, not coming when called, pulling or reactivity on walks, aggression, separation anxiety, or something else — contact me to set up a free consultation call.
